The Secret Santa Society started with Casey Woodzell and Doddie Greer. Over the years we have had the support of friends, family, co-workers and complete strangers. All of this began with just one person that we discovered really needed (very little) help but did not want to ask for it. We had no idea that many people living in nursing homes frequently have spent all of their resources on rent and medication. After paying for those 2 things there is very little left over for a book, snacks, or a worn
All of this began with just one person that we discovered really needed (very little) help but did not want to ask for it. We had no idea that many people living in nursing homes frequently have spent all of their resources on rent and medication. After paying for those 2 things there is very little left over for a book, snacks, or a worn out pair of shoes. So we decided we wanted to do somethig about it! Behind the scenes we made some small things happen, but it really made a big difference for that one person. And so, from there we realized we could help a lot of other people too, with just a little organized effort, love, and fun.

Our mission
Our mission is to bring love, kindness and joy to local residents of long term care facilities. We work with counselors, directors of assisted living facilities, community leaders, to organize delivering gifts including some things that are needed, some things that are fun, and something delicious.
